Sam Bell is a Professor of Political Science at Kansas State University. His research explores political violence, specifically how information, transparency, and international organizations influence political outcomes. His research can be found in the Journal of Conflict Resolution, the British Journal of Political Science, and Conflict Management and Peace Science.

Toby Rider is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Texas Tech University. His research interests include the causes of war, international rivalry, conventional arms races, alliance behavior, territorial disagreements, and bargaining behavior. His work can be found in the Journal of Peace Research, Conflict Management and Peace Science, and International Studies Quarterly.

Jun Koga Sudduth is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) of Government and Public Policy at the University of Strathclyde. Her substantive interests include coups and civil wars, authoritarian politics, leadership survival, conflict resolution, and the link between domestic politics and foreign policy. Her work can be found in the Journal of Conflict Resolution, Journal of Peace Research, and International Studies Quarterly.

Brian Phillips is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in the Department of Government at the University of Essex. His research focuses on security topics such as militant group violence and transnational organized crime. His work can be found in the Journal of Politics, International Studies Quarterly, and the Journal of Conflict Resolution.

Cassy Dorff is an Assistant Professor of Political Science and affiliated faculty at the Data Science Institute at Vanderbilt University. Her research centers around issues of political violence, collective action, methodology, and network science. Her work can be found in the American Journal of Political Science, the Journal of Politics, and the Journal of Peace Research.

Bradley Smith is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Vanderbilt University. His research explores the intersection of international conflict and international cooperation, specifically both the conditions that lead to military cooperation, as well as the influence of realized military cooperation on international conflict outcome. His work can be found in the Journal of Politics, the Journal of Conflict Resolution, and the International Studies Quarterly.
